Emergency Care

New patients and Reestablishing care

Emergency Care

NTHS is not an Emergency Room. Time is valuable in the case of heart attack and stroke. Patients having an emergency, i.e. chest pain, severe abdominal pain, extreme shortness of breath, stroke symptoms, should call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

If less urgent but not a minor problem, patients may go to Claremore Indian Hospital's

24-hour emergency room located at

101 South Moore Street, Claremore, Ok 74017

(918) 342-6200.

Patients may also go to

W.W. Hastings Hospital

100 S. Bliss Ave,

Tahlequah, OK 74464.

(918) 458-3100 or toll free (877) 838-310

Patients receiving emergency care at any non Indian facility must report the visit to NTHS Purchased Referred Care Department at (918) 332-4470 within 72 hours from the beginning of care. The medical data about each case is evaluated by the Purchased Referred Care Review Committee to determine priority for payment.
